Bellagio is a charming neighborhood in the southern region of Mission Viejo, California. Residents enjoy being close to many parks and have membership at the local lake.

The Bellagio subdivision was built by Bramelea and has 324 single family homes. Living space ranges from 2,585 to 3,454 square feet. Homes have four to five bedrooms, three baths, and three-car garages.

This community is served by the Capistrano Unified School District. Students attend top ranked facilities like Bathgate Elementary School, Carl Hankey Middle School, and Capistrano High School. Several private school options are available with institutions like Agape Academy, Carden Academy, Al Ridah Academy, and Cornerstone Community School. This is also the home of Saddleback College and there are several other colleges nearby like the University of California, Irvine.

The two major shopping centers for this region are the Kaleidoscope Courtyards and The Shops at Mission Viejo where you’ll find theaters, restaurants, stores, and entertainment. In the same area is the Mission Hospital which is the largest medical facility in South Orange County. This city is known for its parks and Bellagio is within walking distance to the southern end of O’Neill Regional Park and Napoli Park. Other recreational areas nearby include Barbadanes Park, La Mancha Park, and Cordova Park.

There are three major golf courses in Mission Viejo and to the east you’ll find the Mission Viejo Country Club which offers a Robert Trent Jones Sr. designed course. Residents of the city may also visitLake Mission Viejo for fishing, swimming, beaches, paddle boarding, and boating. In the summer there are many concerts held as well as movie screenings.

Mission Viejo is a suburban city and is considered to be one of the nation’s largest master-planned communities. It is recognized by the National Arbor Day Foundation because of its beautiful tree-lined streets.
